Sovereign Edward VII Gold Coin

The Sovereign has been struck, on and off, since 1817, and Pistrucci's St George has ridden across the reverse for most of that time. Seven and a third grams of fine gold in twenty-two carat. Edward VII reigned from 1901 to 1910, and his Sovereigns carry De Saulles' bare-head portrait — a short reign, so a comparatively short run of dates.
